Your Site Requirements. A Defined Specification.
Different operations require different vehicle configurations. Baobab Terrain arranges requested mine-spec modifications through specialist Service Partners as part of your long-term leasing requirements. The starting point is your site brief and the intended vehicle duties.
What to Include in Your Brief.
A clear brief helps define the vehicle choice and requested work. Provide your operation’s current vehicle specification or fitment schedule where available.
If the requirements are still being finalised, identify what has been confirmed and what remains subject to your site’s review.
-
Vehicle Duties & Quantities
Describe the work involved, preferred models, vehicle quantities and required lease period.
-
Passengers, Equipment & Loads
Include passenger numbers, equipment dimensions and expected loads so the proposed configuration can be assessed against vehicle limits.
-
Site Specification & Requested Fitments
Supply the required modifications, applicable specifications and any installation or documentation requirements set by your operation.
-
Operating Conditions & Access
Describe intended routes, terrain, working conditions and relevant access restrictions that may affect the vehicle or requested fitments.
-
Timing, Review & Handover
State your required start date, delivery location and any inspection or approval steps to be coordinated before site deployment.
From Requested Work to an Agreed Scope.
Baobab coordinates the requirement with specialist Service Partners. Proposed work is assessed for the selected vehicle, then presented for confirmation before proceeding.
Review the Brief
Establish the requested fitments and identify any missing specifications or decisions needed from your operation.
Assess the Configuration
Consider vehicle suitability, fitment compatibility and the effect of proposed modifications on passenger and load requirements.
Confirm the Proposal
Agree the proposed scope, costs, timing and documentation requirements as part of the quotation and leasing arrangements.
“Mine-spec” refers to the agreed configuration for your requirements. Site acceptance depends on the applicable specification and approval process. Any required testing, inspection or certification must be identified and confirmed within the scope.
Start with Your Site Brief.
Tell us which vehicles you need and what your operation requires. Standard vehicles are also available for long-term lease where additional modifications are not requested.
